All About Us
Welcome, we are glad you are here.
People are always asking us, who is Whimsy? Whimsy is everyone! It's you, your mother, father, daughter, and son. Whimsy is defined by Google as, playful, fanciful, or odd behavior or humor.
That is definitely us, we are whimsical.
You, Me, & Whimsy has been in the works for over ten years. It was an idea that I only dreamt of as a young 24-year-old college graduate. I am a classically trained artist and Art Educator, who has worked in the education field for 15 years. Teaching and learning have always been my passion and still has a big place in my heart.
My husband, the other part of us, is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant with a background in art and business from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). He is the math brain of this operation, as well as my encouragement and blessing. He is what car dealerships call "the finance guy". A few months ago, we came to the decision that it was time for me to live out my dreams and begin an art business. Thus, You, Me, & Whimsy was born! We offer collections of handmade art and several different artistic creative services that we are very excited about and proud of. The collections of handmade items come from my desire to learn new things. The first collection is in the works and will be announced and released soon. Every element of this business will incorporate a bit of learning and teaching. We have services offered on our services page and each one allows me to bring the love and fun of art into our community. I can't think of a better blessing and way of life!
